Rules

Students may enter only one category . In addition, students must arrive on time to competitions with tickets that will be issued at registration. Please hold your ticket throughout the competition. You will turn in your ticket with your final product to your proctor.

Please check the site on Feb. 1 for further details for some of the categories. Some categories will provide topics in order that students may research prior to the conference.

Students who receive first place in a category will earn five points for their university. Second place earns three points; third place earns two points. Honorable mention will earn the university one point. At the end of the competition, the university with the most points will win first place overall for the 2010 Southeast Journalism Conference.
